Is Zelle a partner of Alliant Credit Union?
Unlike other banks, Alliant Credit Union is not a partner of Zelle, and therefore the platform will not be available in digital banking. However, this doesn’t mean it can’t it used for sending money. You can add your Alliant checking account card to Zelle to execute your transactions directly from the app.
First, download the Zelle app on your mobile device, then log in and create a new account by following the steps in the app. Go to the app and access “account.”
Here you will find the option to “Add a card” you must enter the number, the expiration date, and the rest of the information requested in the form. When you finish, ensure all the information is correct before agreeing to save and submit the information for review by Zelle.
When they approve that the card number and the rest of the card data are correct, you will be able to set it as the default option for your payments.
What if the bank is not listed in Zelle?
Not all banks must be Zelle partners to use them. The only condition is that your account and the debit card must be from a North American bank to be able to associate it.
If you have an Alliant Credit Union, you don’t have to worry; you must log in to the Zelle mobile application and register your card from scratch. You can link your accounts in a few minutes and start making transactions using the money in your Alliant Credit Union account.
Is it safe to send Alliant Credit Union money with the App?

It is important to note that you should carefully review all transactions because once you hit the “send” button, there is no way to cancel it if the recipient is enrolled in Zelle. If you send money mistakenly or a larger amount, you should discuss it directly with the person who received the payment.
How long does it take to send the money when I pay?
One of the most notable benefits of Zelle is that payments are made almost immediately. Transfers between two users registered in the same application should drop when you press the “send” button.
If three days go by and the money still hasn’t been sent or received, you should check that your registration is complete in Zelle and that the email address or phone number is correct.
After doing all the checks and ensuring everything is OK, if you still do not receive the money, you will have to contact the company or make a claim through the online page to request a refund of the money.
