On the other hand, it may happen that after placing an order you want to cancel it, and we have come to show you how.
How to place an order on Grubhub?
Grubhub allows you to order food from your favorite restaurants through a simple process. First, you must download the application through Google Play or App Store. Then you must enter your delivery address in “Street Address” and select whether you want “Delivery” or “Pick up”.
The restaurants closest to your location will be displayed, but you can also enter the name of your favorite restaurant and choose it. You can also search for restaurants by the type of food you want to eat.
When you’ve decided on a restaurant, select it, and you can see the available menu. Select your order to be added to your bag.
Choose the “Continue to checkout” option to pay for your order. Verify your order and address in case of delivery, so there are no errors. Confirm the desired payment method and choose the “Place your order” option.
The order will be sent to the chosen restaurant, and you should receive an email confirming your order. That’s it! You have completed your first Grubhub order.
Can you cancel a Grubhub order?
Although it is not a quick and easy process, it is possible to cancel Grubhub orders. However, if the restaurant has already sent your order, there’s a chance you may not be able to cancel it. To cancel the order, you must open the application and go to the “Orders” section at the bottom of the screen.
Select your order at the top of the screen and choose the “Help” option in the upper-right corner. Then select the “Cancel Order” option in the list of operations.
You must write the reason why you want to cancel your order. Select the “Chat with us” option, and you can talk to Grubhub customer support staff here.
Wait for them to review your order and tell you whether it can be canceled or not. The restaurant may have already prepared your order, or it could have already been shipped so it may be too late for you to cancel it.
In this case, you can choose to call the restaurant and tell them that you wish to cancel the order.
What is Grubhub plus and what are its benefits?
Grubhub+ has multiple benefits, so if you have not yet obtained your membership, we recommend that you request it.
Members have unlimited free deliveries for orders over $12 at select restaurants. They also have access to Elite Care. In order to join, you have to sign up on the official Grubhub+ website.
It is important to note that you cannot place orders that include alcohol in Grubhub+; in these cases, the delivery will not be free for orders over $12. On the other hand, the benefits of Elite Care remain the same.
If you are a college student at one of Grubhub’s select universities, you can be a member of Grubhub+ Student. This special program has multiple benefits such as free delivery on orders $12 and up and Grubhub+ Premium Support in Elite Care.
How to cancel Grubhub+?
It is possible to cancel your Grubhub+ membership at any time. By canceling you will be able to continue with the benefits that come with the membership until the end of the contract cycle.
However, if you cancel the membership during the trial period, the benefits will be terminated immediately. To cancel the membership, you must log into the application, enter the account settings, and go to the “Grubhub+ Membership” section.
At the bottom of the screen, you must select the “Cancel Membership” section and confirm the cancellation by choosing the “Cancel Membership” option. You will receive a confirmation email with the cancellation of your membership to the address that was added to your Grubhub account.
