Create Cash App Names
Before requesting money with the Cash App name, you must create a $Cashtag in the Cash App. The procedure is very simple.
- Open the Cash App on your mobile device.
- Locate the Profile tab on the screen and tap on it.
- At the bottom of the page, go to the Personal account.
- Select the $Cashtag field from the drop-down menu.
- Enter a name for the cashtag.
- Confirm the changes by pressing Set.

- Using symbols such as exclamation mark (!), at-sign (@), percentage (%), the asterisk (*), and comma (,) among other invalid ones.

- Press the Confirm option to save the changes.
You can only do this name change configuration twice. If you have another problem with your $Cashtag, you will not be able to renew it a third time unless you contact the application’s Customer Service.
Scam cash app names to apply for money
Scams through Cash app names to request money from are the order of the day. The recommendation is always to ask for money from people you trust, relatives or close friends.

In the same email, they will indicate that you will have to pay a small amount as an authorization fee for security reasons. You will feel that everything is real, and you will pay that money. By doing so, the scam has been fulfilled. This is the cash application settlement scam.
Like this one, there are many other ways to trick you. In that sense, the most advisable thing to do is not to use names of the application of strange people to request money.
