Our first house, apartment, or business is one of our most satisfying achievements. However, it generates a flow of important decisions, one of which is the type of furniture we will choose for our spaces. Depending on the type of furniture, the design, and the store, the price could vary a lot.
Some furniture can be costly, and we could find it difficult to purchase with a single payment. Thus, we may need to opt for other shopping options, among which we find Buy Now Pay Later through Afterpay. There are many stores associated with Afterpay, which could provide you with greater benefits.
Furniture stores accepting AfterPay
Afterpay is associated with a large list of furniture stores. Here are the most popular and most visited options to make your decision easier when choosing your dream furniture.
David Jones
David Jones is at the top of our list because of the variety of furniture offered at great deals.
To use Afterpay for your purchase, your order must not exceed $3000; you must be of legal age and have Australian residency. The purchase can be made either online or in-store.
With Afterpay, you can pay for your David Jones purchase in 4 installments every two weeks. The first installment is paid at the time of sale and is interest-free. However, late fees will be added if you do not pay on time.
Making the purchase is simple. If you are online, you only have to add your products to the cart and select them in the store. After that, select Buy Now Pay Later as your payment method and log in to Afterpay. You will only have to wait a few seconds for the transaction to be approved.
House
House has also decided to add Afterpay to its payment methods. After choosing your purchase, you only have to select “Process payment” and choose Pay Later.
However, if you make your purchase on a weekend or holiday, it will not be completed immediately. You will have to wait one business day for it to be processed. Once completed, you will receive your invoice via the email address you entered.
Target
Target could not be an exception. You will find several maximum purchase amounts depending on whether it is done online or in-store. Online, the purchase can be up to $2000, and in-store, up to $1000.
The shopping process is the same as explained above. You select the products you wish to purchase, choose Afterpay as your payment method, and then log in to your account. The four interest-free installments are maintained. It would be best if you were up to date on your payments to avoid additional fees.
In addition, Target provides the option of returns and refunds on Afterpay purchases. However, please note that you cannot purchase gift cards.
Kmart
Finally, there is Kmart. With this store, you must meet certain requirements for your Afterpay payment to be approved.
These requirements include being of legal age, a resident of Australia, and being an Australian cardholder, either debit or credit card. You must also have a personal phone number and email address, which will be verified for validation.
Once you are sure you meet the requirements, you can purchase. Orders can be placed either online or in-store. However, online purchases must be between $70 and $2000.
The installment payment will depend on whether your order is over $500. If so, you will be required to pay 25% at the time of purchase. As for the payment days, a schedule will be sent to your email address after processing your purchase.
This schedule must be complied with. Otherwise, you will have to pay $10 for late payments, to which $7 will be added every seven days if you default. Like Target, you may request returns and refunds on your purchases.
How can I choose the best furniture option for me?
Furniture selection is a decision that cannot be taken lightly, as there are several factors to consider. First, looking for a design that fits in with your home is important. A modern piece of furniture would not look good in a classic house.
It would be best if you also remembered that furniture is not changed commonly due to its high cost and durability, so you must be sure that it is to your liking since you will most likely keep it for a long time.
Considering the above, you can also look for a model that reflects your tastes and styles. Furniture usually belongs in the living room, a space for which you will find tables and rugs, so be sure to choose a well-matching option.
On the other hand, there is also outdoor furniture, so choose a design according to where you will place it. Outdoor furniture is usually less elegant than indoor furniture.
Finally, consider the color of the furniture. Look for light or pastel colors. They will give your home a clean and relaxing look. Bright colors reflect good energy. It is best not to choose colors that are too bright and that match the colors of your walls.
