Regardless of the model you are returning, it must be in its original box or packaging and perfect condition. The package must not be broken, glued, exposed, or marked. To avoid damage, if you are returning by shipment, be sure to protect the box with a bag.
In which cases can I opt for a refund, and in which others can I get an exchange?
This will depend on the payment method you used for your purchase and how you made your purchase.
If you have chosen the online return option, regardless of whether you paid for your purchase with a credit card, postpaid card, or PayPal, you will only be able to apply for refunds.
In these cases, if you want an online exchange, even though you will not get it directly, you can order the product you wish to when reordering and simultaneously request a refund.
On the other hand, for in-store returns, for all payment methods, you can request an exchange or refund.
How long do I have to wait for my refund to become effective?
For returns that are carried out by sending the product to Van’s warehouses, this process can take 2 to 3 business days. You must consider holidays and sales periods, if these are within the week, it could take a little longer.
Likewise, you can find out how the return request is going by entering the tracking number in the order tracking section of the official Van’s website.
Do I have to pay any return costs?
Unfortunately, yes. Vans do not cover the return costs associated with shipping the items. The only person responsible for these costs is the buyer.
However, there are ways to save you these costs. You can carry out the refund or exchange by going to one of Van’s branches and requesting it in person.
On the other hand, for purchases that were canceled with credit cards after requesting the refund, the amount of your purchase will be reflected in your account statement 2 to 5 business days later.
The time will depend on each platform for purchases made with PayPal or AfterPay. However, you will receive a notification when the process is completed. You will only need to adjust your account to receive the money.
