The difference is that the store card is closed-loop, meaning can only use at one of the Bed Bath & Beyond locations or stores. The benefit includes Cost Plus, Buy Buy Baby, Cost Plus World Market, and Harmon & Harmon.
The Bed Bath & Beyond MasterCard credit card can be used wherever you want. As of November 2020, both versions have an introductory bonus that must be pre-approved; you will enjoy a $20 reward certificate.
Bed Bath & Beyond Credit Card Rewards
With the $20 reward when you receive the card, you can use it right out of the box on any purchase of that same value or higher. You will also receive a welcome coupon for $25 off your first $100 or more purchase.
As long as you have your cards, you can receive up to 5% cashback on purchases made at Bed Bath & Beyond and any of its family of brands. The MasterCard also has 2% cashback on fuel purchases at gas stations and grocery stores.
The rebates are non-cash, but you can accumulate them as in-store rewards, valid at any of its partner stores. Another eye-catching tip is that for every $10 in information, the store will mail you a certificate with a reward of that same amount.
There is a limit on the certificates you can exchange, you can’t take more than 20, but if you want to complete the purchase amount, you can also use Bed Bath & Beyond coupons.
In addition to the coupons by mail, you will receive additional gift certificates when you reach $1000 and $6000 in spending with your card. However, they have some terms that you should evaluate when you receive them.
Rewards have an expiration date
Make sure you don’t keep your rewards certificates for too long; you have six months to use them. Therefore, it is not an option to save them until you have enough and make a large purchase.
